The new Faster way to pay rent

PayTo allows you to quickly and securely pay your rent from your bank account, giving you greater control and better visibility over payments. PayTo is available to all tenants with Rental Rewards.

PayTo will incur a flat fee for each transaction. The transaction fee will be displayed at the time of payment.

*Transactions before 8 AM (SYD time) on business days will be settled the same day; those after 8 AM (SYD time) will be settled the next business day.

How to Get Started

For New tenants:

  1. Visit your agent’s payment setup link. If you do not have this, please advise your agent.
  2. Select ‘PayTo’ as your preferred payment option and enter your bank account details then press submit.
  3. Look out for a PayTo notification sent to your banking app.
  4. Open your banking app and navigate to ‘PayTo’ or ‘Authorisations’. Note that the PayTo dashboard may vary between apps, so please refer to your respective banking support team for guidance.
  5. Approve the PayTo agreement and you’re all set. Your rental payments will be deducted automatically on the approved due dates.

For existing tenants:

  1. Log in to your Rental Rewards tenant portal using the button below.
  2. Navigate to ‘My Wallet‘ then ‘Add New PayTo Account
  3. You will then be redirected to your banking app to approve the PayTo agreement.
  4. Follow the prompts to review and approve the agreement. Once approved, your PayTo agreement will be active unless your account changes.
  5. Once you add a new payment method, you can then select what agents to use it with. If it’s only one, you can simply select ‘🔗 apply to all merchants

Important notes:

  • Bank availability: If your bank doesn’t support PayTo, you’ll need to use traditional bank transfers until the service becomes available.
  • Agent availability: Not all agents offer PayTo—please refer to them before setting up the payment method.
  • Fee changes: Switching your payment method may affect processing fees. Check the latest fees by updating your Payment Account on the ‘My Agents’ page.
  • PayTo agreements: If you set up a new PayTo agreement, you’ll need to review and approve it again through your banking app
